Yariv Livay

Yariv is a Senior Engineer at Gumshoe, where he owns the platform's citation intelligence and source analysis infrastructure. When an AI model cites a URL in its response, Yariv's systems fetch, normalize, classify, and analyze that source to help brands understand not just whether they were mentioned, but where AI is getting its information and what types of content drive recommendations.

Yariv's current work spans the full pipeline from citation URL fetching and brand presence detection to page audit accuracy and source metadata evaluation. He builds the workflow infrastructure that processes thousands of cited pages per report run, and his research into page type classification is shaping how Gumshoe helps customers understand which content formats, such as product roundups, comparison pages, and how-to guides, are most likely to earn AI citations.

Before Gumshoe, Yariv served as a Principal Engineer at Game Jolt, a social community platform for gamers that grew to serve tens of millions of users. He also played a key role at Athletic Greens, where he worked alongside David DeCarmine and Jonathan Bender to migrate the company's entire subscription infrastructure to Shopify during a critical growth period. That experience building scalable, high-traffic systems translates directly to the demands of Gumshoe's data pipeline, where reliability and throughput matter just as much as accuracy.
